The SolarWinds AI Agent acts as a reliable teammate for observability, incident response, and service management. IT professionals can now:
- Resolve incidents faster: Automatically summarize outages, collect diagnostics, identify probable root causes, and suggest corrective actions.
- Interact in natural language: Ask questions about system health, compare metrics, receive recommendations, and launch multi-step workflows using plain-language commands.
- Simplify observability management: Configure and control SolarWinds Observability through the agentic interface.

Root Cause Assist, now generally available, reduces troubleshooting time by generating clear root-cause analyses from alerts and anomalies. Dynamic Threshold Enhancements, available immediately, extend automated thresholding to more metrics, reducing noise and false positives.

Looking Ahead: Innovations in 2026
In 2026, SolarWinds plans to roll out additional capabilities such as AI-driven incident correlation, automated runbook execution, and knowledge base generation to further strengthen autonomous resilience. The AI Incident Correlation for Service Desk will identify related incidents and recommend problem management workflows. AI Knowledge Base Generation will leverage GenAI to create articles from resolved incidents, expanding self-service options. Automated Runbook Execution will allow teams to perform predefined standard operating procedures automatically during initial diagnostics and suggested fixes.
