Through this strategic collaboration, both companies are setting a global benchmark for large-scale AI-powered semiconductor production. They plan to merge data from physical equipment and production workflows to drive predictive maintenance, streamline processes, and boost operational efficiency in autonomous fabrication environments.

“We are at the dawn of the AI industrial revolution a new era that will redefine how the world designs, builds and manufactures,” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. “As Korea’s and one of the world’s foremost technology and industrial leaders, Samsung is forging its AI foundation with NVIDIA to lead the future of intelligent and autonomous manufacturing transforming Samsung itself and the many industries around the world built on Samsung technologies.”

Echoing this vision, Jay Y. Lee, executive chairman of Samsung Electronics, stated, “NVIDIA has been a visionary of this new AI era, and its technologies have empowered innovators to reinvent industries. From Samsung’s DRAM for NVIDIA’s game-changing graphics card in 1995 to our new AI factory, we are thrilled to continue our longstanding journey with NVIDIA in leading this transformation as we envision creating new standards for the future and accelerating breakthroughs for the world.”

This partnership builds on a robust 25-year alliance that began with the NVIDIA NV1 graphics card powered by Samsung DRAM. Over the decades, the collaboration has expanded to include innovations like the first commercial HBM, HBM3E, and HBM4 technologies. Looking ahead, both companies plan to continue their semiconductor collaborations across GDDR memory, custom solutions, foundry services, and SOCAMM.

Furthermore, Samsung is leveraging NVIDIA GPUs, CUDA-X libraries, and advanced tools from Synopsys, Cadence, and Siemens to significantly enhance circuit simulation, verification, and manufacturing analysis. With NVIDIA Omniverse at its core, Samsung is also developing highly accurate digital twins that simulate real-world fabs, enabling faster design-to-operation transitions, predictive maintenance, and real-time decision-making.

In addition, Samsung is deploying NVIDIA RTX PRO Servers with RTX PRO 6000 Blackwell Server Edition GPUs to create a real-time digital twin of its manufacturing environment. This will optimize logistics, detect anomalies, and improve planning, moving closer to a fully autonomous fab model.

The companies are also advancing computational lithography by integrating the NVIDIA cuLitho library into Samsung’s OPC platform, achieving up to 20x performance improvements in semiconductor manufacturing.

Beyond factories, Samsung is pioneering smart robotics powered by NVIDIA technologies. Using NVIDIA Isaac Sim, Omniverse, Cosmos, and Jetson Thor, Samsung aims to create humanoid robots capable of interacting intelligently with their environments. Additionally, both companies have collaborated with Korean telecom operators and research institutions to develop AI-RAN technology, merging AI with mobile networks to power the next wave of physical AI innovation.

Together, NVIDIA and Samsung are redefining the boundaries of intelligent manufacturing, setting the stage for an era where AI, robotics, and digital twins transform the future of global industry.
