Enterprises in Brazil are accelerating digital transformation by incorporating generative AI (GenAI) into their processes, aided by tools from AWS and its ecosystem partners, according to a new research report published by Information Services Group (ISG), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm.
In 2026, organizations in Brazil will look to move from experimentation to scale as AWS solutions mature and the ecosystem develops deeper local capabilities.
The 2025 ISG Provider Lens AWS Ecosystem Partners report for Brazil finds that companies are expanding their use of AWS solutions such as Amazon Bedrock, Amazon Q and Amazon Nova to improve efficiency, productivity and innovation. As organizations advance from traditional cloud migrations to cloud-native modernization, they are investing in data transformation and skills development to enable successful AI adoption, often with the help of service providers.

“The pace of AI adoption in Brazil shows how enterprises are transforming operations and unlocking new business opportunities,” said Anay Nawathe, ISG cloud delivery lead for the Americas. “In 2026, organizations will look to move from experimentation to scale as AWS solutions mature and the ecosystem develops deeper local capabilities.”
Comprehensive cloud modernization is emerging as a defining strategy in large Brazilian enterprises, the report says. Many companies that once relied on simple lift-and-shift migration approaches are now rebuilding applications using microservices, managed databases and DevOps practices for higher scalability and performance. The technology sector is leading this trend and the successful adoption of GenAI into its operations. GenAI tools such as Amazon Q Developer are helping teams automate code refactoring and documentation, reducing complexity and accelerating modernization timelines, the report says.
Enterprises in multiple sectors are adopting vertical cloud solutions based on AWS that save them from having to build cloud environments from scratch. Providers with preconfigured accelerators, AWS best practices and knowledge of local and industry regulations help companies innovate more quickly. Organizations in finance and other industries are using AWS’ specialized data and analytics services to introduce new digital products faster and improve operational agility.
Data modernization is emerging as a critical part of successful GenAI deployments in Brazil, the report says. Many enterprises are overhauling legacy architectures and building modern data environments with data lakes, integration pipelines and quality frameworks to ensure scalability and reliability. Such foundations support GenAI use cases such as workflow optimization, predictive analytics and customer engagement. Companies adopting strong data governance models are achieving more accurate insights and faster time to value.
“The drive to take advantage of GenAI is shaping how Brazilian enterprises modernize their applications and data management,” said Adriana Frantz, lead author of the report. “Providers support this evolution with specialized AWS-based tools and methodologies to help clients effectively deploy AI.”
