Information Services Group (ISG), a leading global AI-focused technology research and advisory firm, has launched a major research study to evaluate service providers that help organizations leverage robotics to enhance operations and build more connected, technology-enabled workforces.
As robotics moves beyond traditional industrial applications, organizations increasingly combine human expertise with intelligent systems to make work more responsive, connected, and efficient across a variety of business environments. This shift is driving enterprises to adopt integrated, data-driven robotics systems that adapt to evolving demands and foster better collaboration between humans and machines.

The results of ISG’s research will be published in the comprehensive ISG Provider Lens report titled Intelligent Robotics and Physical AI Services, which is scheduled for release in March 2026. The report will highlight companies offering managed and as-a-service robotics solutions, consulting and transformation support, as well as system integration and engineering expertise.
Enterprise buyers will gain valuable insights from the report to assess current vendor relationships, explore potential new engagements, and evaluate available solutions. Simultaneously, ISG advisors will use the findings to recommend providers to the firm’s buy-side clients.
“Robotics is expanding from traditional industrial settings into a broader range of business operations,” said Heiko Henkes, managing director, ISG Provider Lens Research. “Organizations are combining human expertise with intelligent systems to make work more responsive, connected and efficient across diverse environments.”
ISG has distributed surveys to more than 160 providers. Working alongside ISG’s global advisory team, the research group will produce three quadrants reflecting the robotics and physical AI services that typical enterprises are purchasing, based on the firm’s extensive client experience. These quadrants include:
