Infosys will hold operational control, while Telstra retains a 25% minority stake, signaling confidence in the venture’s growth potential. By combining Telstra’s connectivity expertise, Versent’s local digital engineering capabilities, and Infosys’ global scale, the partnership promises to deliver exceptional value to Australian clients.

Versent Group, with a workforce of 650 engineers, strategists, and advisors, has established a strong reputation by helping Australian enterprises implement robust cloud strategies. By joining forces, Infosys will augment Versent’s cloud capabilities with its own AI, data, and digital consulting services, leveraging advanced offerings such as Infosys Topaz, Infosys Cobalt, and the cybersecurity expertise of The Missing Link.

This venture builds on previous collaborations between Infosys and Telstra, including a 2024 multi-year software engineering and IT transformation initiative and a 2025 partnership with Telstra International to support the Connected Future 30 strategy.
