AIEEV, a South Korean start-up led by CEO Sejin Park, has officially launched Air Cloud, a 100% distributed, inference-only AI cloud. The innovative platform connects idle GPUs from both consumers and enterprises, offering a cost-effective solution for AI inference.

“For AI infrastructure, service competitiveness requires not only speed and cost but also stability. Thanks to its distributed architecture, Air Cloud ensures service continuity even in the event of failures,” said Sejin Park, CEO of AIEEV.

The rapid expansion of AI services has fueled unprecedented demand for inference, placing immense pressure on global data centers. Although public cloud providers are expanding their facilities to accommodate this growth, high capital costs and energy efficiency limitations are raising concerns about long-term scalability.

To address these challenges, AIEEV has unified GPU edge nodes worldwide into a single, cohesive cloud. By integrating idle gaming GPUs from PC cafés and Dnotitia’s personal LLM device Mnemos, Air Cloud provides an AI inference environment without relying on traditional data centers. Consequently, AI models can now be deployed and executed without complex setups or specialized personnel, making the technology more accessible.

After nine months of rigorous technical verification with around 20 AI companies, AIEEV has enhanced Air Cloud with optimized execution, improved cost efficiency, secure payment systems, and robust security features. To mark the launch, the company is offering a free Proof-of-Concept (PoC) program along with a 50% discount.

Looking ahead, AIEEV plans to secure over 100,000 consumer GPU nodes worldwide by 2026, positioning itself as a low-cost, highly scalable AI inference platform. The company aims to help startups, as well as small and medium-sized enterprises, operate AI services at more reasonable costs compared to conventional public clouds.

In addition to its launch, AIEEV has gained recognition by participating in several major national programs, including Samsung Electronics’ C-Lab startup incubation, Daegu City’s ABB project, SK Telecom’s AI Startup Accelerating program, and the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ TIPS program. Furthermore, through the Ministry’s Deep Tech GMEP project, AIEEV is exploring collaborations with global companies via Plug and Play in Silicon Valley, highlighting its growing international presence.

With Air Cloud, AIEEV is setting a new benchmark for distributed AI infrastructure, offering a solution that combines cost efficiency, stability, and scalability for the next generation of AI services.
