With this move, Wayve reinforces its long-term commitment to ensuring data accuracy, a crucial pillar for developing safe, trustworthy, and scalable autonomous driving systems.
Founded in 2019, Quality Match has become known for its specialized expertise in interpreting and analyzing complex datasets that train AI models used in advanced assisted and automated driving. As Wayve accelerates toward the commercial rollout of its AI Driver software, the addition of Quality Match marks a significant advancement. It enables Wayve to produce more efficient, high-quality, and fully auditable datasets that support the creation of reliable, explainable, and high-performance AI models.

Moreover, the acquisition expands Wayve’s operations in Germany. Quality Match’s team of 20 data specialists will now integrate into Wayve’s global workforce. This development follows the company’s launch of a Testing and Development Hub near Stuttgart in early 2025, positioning Germany as a vital engineering and AI innovation center for Wayve. Along with the team, Quality Match’s CEO, Daniel Kondermann, will join Wayve as Director of Data.
