Tencent officially launched its latest scenario-based AI features on the global stage, aiming to help industries enhance efficiency and accelerate business growth in international markets. The announcement took place at the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Summit 2025, held on September 16–17 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center. The new offerings include advanced AI agent applications, “SaaS + AI” solutions, and large-scale AI model upgrades.
During the event, Dowson Tong, Senior Executive Vice President of Tencent and CEO of the Cloud and Smart Industries Group, emphasized the importance of practical AI in driving growth. He stated, “Truly practical AI applications drive industrial efficiency, while internationalization opens new growth opportunities. Our latest solutions help companies navigate the era of smart technology and internationalization, and build large-scale, sustainable growth.”

Driving Smarter Business with AI Agents
Tencent spotlighted its Agent Development Platform 3.0 (ADP) as a key highlight of its Cloud Intelligent Agent Strategy. With ADP, enterprises can build and deploy autonomous AI agents for functions such as customer service, marketing, inventory management, and research. Additionally, Tencent continues to innovate frameworks like LLM+RAG, Workflow, and Multi-Agent, ensuring businesses can create secure, stable, and data-driven AI agents. To further strengthen this ecosystem, Tencent introduced Agent Runtime, an infrastructure designed for efficient agent development and deployment.
The upgraded SaaS+AI suite also boosts productivity. Features such as AI Minutes in Tencent Meetings which recorded 150% annual growth support collaboration, while Tencent LearnShare now assists over 300,000 companies with 92% response accuracy. Meanwhile, CodeBuddy, Tencent’s AI programming assistant, cuts work processes by 40% and improves R&D efficiency by 16%.
Expanding AI Models with Hunyuan
Tencent also revealed several new models powered by its flagship Hunyuan large language model (LLM), including Hunyuan 3D 3.0, Hunyuan 3D AI, and Hunyuan 3D Studio. These solutions enhance 3D development across media, gaming, and creative industries. Notably, Hunyuan 3D has already surpassed 2.6 million downloads on Hugging Face, making it the world’s most popular open-source 3D AI model. Over the past year, Tencent has released more than 30 Hunyuan models, adopting an open-source approach that supports translation, hybrid inference, and multi-format content creation.
Strengthening Global Cloud Strategy
Tencent Cloud highlighted significant progress in its international expansion, doubling its global client base since last year and maintaining over 10% annual growth for three consecutive years. Today, 90% of China’s leading internet companies and 95% of its largest gaming firms rely on Tencent Cloud for global growth.

At the summit, global partners including DANA, e& UAE, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, MUFG Bank (China), and True IDC shared strategies for leveraging AI and cloud computing. Poshu Yeung, Senior Vice President of Tencent Cloud International, explained, “Tencent Cloud brings our extensive expertise and experience in integrating AI with the entire ecosystem to global enterprises. Through the launch of new solutions such as the Tencent Cloud Agent Development Platform, we aim to expand our international reach and serve more industries and various business needs.”
To strengthen its globalization strategy, Tencent announced collaborations with global firms such as Datacom, IOH, GoTo Group, MUFG Bank (China), StoneLink, eMAG, and InCloud. The company will reinforce its growth pillars in infrastructure, products, and service capabilities. Currently, Tencent Cloud operates 55 data centers in 21 regions and plans to invest $150 million in its first Middle East data center in Saudi Arabia, alongside expanding in Japan with a third Osaka facility and a new office.
Through its international cloud offerings such as Superapp-as-a-Service, PalmAI, and EdgeOne Pages Tencent continues to simplify digital transformation. EdgeOne Pages, for instance, reduces website deployment from one day to just one minute and has already attracted over 100,000 global users in only three months.
With these advancements, Tencent is not only redefining AI-driven enterprise solutions but also cementing its position as a global leader in cloud and smart technologies.
