Stitch Fix, the leading online personal styling service, has introduced Stitch Fix Vision, an innovative style visualization tool powered by generative AI (GenAI). Currently in beta, Vision allows clients to explore fashion in an entirely new way, offering personalized imagery of themselves wearing curated outfits that match their style profile and the latest fashion trends.
“When Stitch Fix launched nearly 15 years ago, we disrupted the retail market, and today we are rewriting the retail playbook once again with our latest suite of innovations, including Stitch Fix Vision,” said Matt Baer, CEO, Stitch Fix. “We have billions of data points on our clients’ fit and style preferences, and we are using these insights, as well as the latest in GenAI technology, our assortment of leading brands and the expertise of our Stylists, to deliver ultra-personalization at scale and bring to life new ways for clients to discover the styles they will love.”

How Stitch Fix Vision Works
Vision generates personalized images of clients wearing the latest fashion trends, helping them visualize how different outfits look in various settings from bustling city streets to relaxing beach vacations. By combining proprietary algorithms, deep client data, and Stylist expertise, Vision curates complete outfits tailored to each individual’s preferences. Additionally, the images are shoppable, allowing clients to purchase items directly or add them to their next Fix. Users can save images in their personal Vision gallery or share them on social media for inspiration.
Clients can access Vision by uploading a selfie and a full-length photo via the Stitch Fix app, available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play. Following the initial set of images, Vision delivers a fresh selection weekly, providing an ongoing library of outfit inspiration.
“We believe shopping for clothes should be easy and fun, and that everyone should feel confident in what they wear,” added Tony Bacos, Chief Product and Technology Officer, Stitch Fix. “Vision delivers on both, providing first-of-its-kind personal style visualization and inspiration. It is an entirely new approach to style discovery, unlike any of the existing ‘virtual try-on’ experiences that require shoppers to do all the work.”
