Solidigm is the leading provider of high-capacity storage for AI, and Broadcom’s custom controllers have served as a critical component of Solidigm SSDs for more than a decade. With more than 120 million units of Solidigm SSDs shipped featuring Broadcom controllers, the partnership between the two companies has continued through key industry SSD milestones including Serial ATA (SATA), Serial-Attached SCSI (SAS) and Non-Volatile Memory Express (NVMe).
The agreement also includes collaboration on Solidigm’s recently announced 122TB (terabyte) Solidigm™ D5-P5336 data center SSD, the world’s highest capacity PCIe SSD that delivers industry-leading storage efficiency from the core data center to the edge.
