Brandon Tseng, CEO and co-founder of Shield AI, emphasized the importance of Norway’s defense landscape. He noted, “Norway’s defense ecosystem is amazing; it is innovative, operationally grounded, and committed to mission success. Establishing an office in Oslo deepens our ability to collaborate with Norwegian partners whose technologies are critical to contentious operations, and strengthens our collective capacity to support NATO and European allies.”
Radionor Communications AS, recognized for delivering high-performance broadband radios, continues to play a pivotal role. Its systems outperform legacy technologies in critical missions. Raymond Søderholm, CEO of Radionor Communications AS, highlighted the partnership’s impact, stating, “As a core element of the Norwegian defense industry, Radionor is proud to deliver superior communications under the most critical conditions. We are very pleased to be able to work with Shield AI’s strong team and integrate our equipment with their technology.”
Similarly, Teleplan Globe contributes its expertise in C4ISR and battlefield management software, which ensures effective sensor-to-effector integration. CEO Jan H. Nyegaarden remarked, “Teleplan Globe has established a reputation for delivering high-performance, mission-critical systems operating in complex and challenging environments. Our work with Shield AI reflects a shared goal to bring these capabilities to the front lines – quickly.”

Meanwhile, Ubiq Aerospace is breaking operational barriers with its advanced ice detection and protection technology for drones and airborne systems. CEO Kim Lynge Sorensen explained, “Globally, winter has been a dead season for drones, for both adversaries and allies. Our solutions break this symmetry in clouds and cold weather, delivering not only a force multiplier but a shift in initiative. Together with Shield, we aim to change the operational balance with year-round ISR.”
Looking ahead, the Oslo office will function as a hub for engineering collaboration and program integration with Norway’s defense industry. More importantly, it marks Shield AI’s expanding influence in Europe, where demand for its flagship V-BAT system continues to rise. Countries such as Greece and the Netherlands have already adopted V-BAT for maritime ISR and contested domain missions, demonstrating the platform’s growing value across NATO and European allies.
