At its inaugural SAP Connect event, SAP SE demonstrated how the seamless integration of AI, data, and applications delivers unmatched business value. The company introduced a series of innovations that are set to redefine business operations, including a new network of role-based AI assistants in Joule, an expanding data ecosystem, and supply chain software capable of anticipating disruptions.
“To thrive when volatility is the new normal, businesses need more than a patchwork of disparate best-of-breed applications,” said Muhammad Alam, member of the Executive Board of SAP SE, SAP Product & Engineering. “Our announcements today demonstrate the power of SAP Business Suite, where AI, data and applications come together in an experience to propel smarter decisions, faster execution and scalable transformation.”

AI That Partners With People
SAP showcased the next evolution of Joule as the AI engine central to SAP Business Suite. By leveraging data and applications from across the suite, SAP now introduces role-aware AI assistants designed to collaborate with individuals in specific business roles. These assistants intelligently configure, orchestrate, and manage tasks through specialized agents, enabling employees to focus on insights and productivity rather than repetitive workflows.
For example, a People Manager Assistant orchestrates a team of specialized agents, including the People Intelligence Agent, which identifies and resolves issues like compensation anomalies. Similarly, the Financial Planning Assistant works alongside the Cash Management Agent to optimize cash flow and improve interest yields. Collectively, these assistants not only enhance individual performance but also collaborate across functions to tackle complex enterprise-wide challenges.
Data That Defies Boundaries
Recognizing that data often remains siloed, SAP introduced SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC) Connect to remove these barriers. The platform enables secure, bidirectional sharing of business-ready data products across organizational and technological boundaries. With zero-copy sharing, data remains in SAP systems while staying accessible in customers’ platforms, preserving context without duplication.

Initial partnerships with Databricks and Google Cloud mark the launch of SAP BDC Connect, allowing faster access to analytics-ready data. This expansion transforms raw data into actionable insights, accelerating AI-driven decision-making across enterprises.
Applications That Turn Data Into Action
SAP also unveiled AI-native enterprise solutions to maximize data value. SAP Supply Chain Orchestration leverages Joule and live knowledge graphs to detect multi-tier supplier risks in real time and coordinate responses. SAP Engagement Cloud personalizes stakeholder interactions using critical business context, while the next-gen SAP Ariba procurement suite integrates intelligence across all stages of spend management.
Together, these innovations in the SAP Business Suite usher in an era where AI, data, and applications reinforce one another, enabling smarter, faster, and more resilient business operations.
