Nitrogen has officially unveiled Nucleus, a powerful agentic AI engine built directly into its advisor platform, marking a major step forward in how financial advisors prepare for and conduct client meetings. The announcement came during the company’s Winter 2026 product release keynote at the Fearless Investing Summit. In addition, Nitrogen introduced significant enhancements to its AI-driven tax planning solution, including client-ready PDF report generation.

With Nucleus, Nitrogen aims to transform what happens before, during, and after every client interaction. Instead of switching between multiple tools, manually entering data, or preparing reports late into the night, advisors can now assign real tasks to Nucleus within a single client profile. For example, advisors can set risk targets, distribute risk questionnaires, convert financial statements into portfolios, generate retirement income maps, draft proposals, and prepare meeting talking points all without leaving the platform.

“Client meetings are where advisors demonstrate value and trust is won,” said Dan Zitting, Chief Executive Officer at Nitrogen. “By connecting investment risk, investment research, income planning, and tax intelligence through persuasive visuals, we’re helping advisors turn every meeting into a catalyst moment. Our Net Promoter Score of 71 proves that advisors trust us to lead this evolution, and we are committed to providing the most compliant, secure, and powerful AI tools in the industry.”

Unlike standalone AI chatbots, Nucleus works within Nitrogen’s structured data environment. As a result, advisors maintain full control and must approve actions before execution. Moreover, the system operates under SOC 2 and ISO-42001 compliance standards, backed by over a decade of investment in data security.

“With Nucleus, we’re moving beyond simple automation to agentic AI,” said Justin Boatman, Chief Product Officer at Nitrogen. “It’s no longer just a brain; it has hands. Nucleus can be tasked with complex work across our suite, allowing advisors to focus entirely on the relationship.”

Beyond Nucleus, Nitrogen expanded its product suite to strengthen advisor-client conversations. In the Tax Center, the company introduced two new Report Elements within Reports Builder. The Tax Snapshot Report Element allows advisors to generate a client-ready PDF that summarizes tax data using clear visuals. Meanwhile, the Tax Transition Report Element highlights the tax implications of shifting from a current portfolio to a proposed one, enabling advisors to frame risk alignment decisions within real tax contexts. Additionally, Nitrogen previewed a Roth Conversion Calculator scheduled for release next month.

Furthermore, Premium Statement Capture now enhances the AI-powered statement conversion process by offering a human-verified option for $49 per month. Advisors can upload a PDF and receive a fully verified, ready-to-use portfolio without completing the final steps themselves.

Income Center, previously known as Planning Center, now includes Stress Tests that simulate real-world market events for retirement income planning. Consequently, advisors can demonstrate how guaranteed income sources, including annuities, may stabilize retirement plans under adverse scenarios.

Finally, Nitrogen upgraded its Research Center by tripling supported portfolio size and improving load speeds by more than 3.5 times. As a result, advisors can address complex investment questions in real time, further strengthening their ability to deliver value in every meeting.
