Luma AI, the innovative artificial intelligence company behind the multimodal AGI platform and its flagship product Dream Machine, has taken a major step in its global growth strategy by opening its first international office in London, UK. This move marks a significant milestone as the company accelerates its expansion into key creative markets worldwide.

As creative industries continue to decentralize and new production hubs rise across EMEA, Luma AI is strategically placing itself where creative content is increasingly produced rather than merely consumed. By operating within these fast-growing markets, the company aims to build intelligence that deeply aligns with local cultures, workflows, and creative needs. London, known for its global influence in advertising, branding, and entertainment, naturally became the starting point for this international push.

“With this Series C funding round and the upcoming rollout of a global IT infrastructure, we have the capital and the capability to bring AI on a global scale to creatives worldwide,” said Amit Jain, CEO and co-founder of Luma AI. “Launching across EMEA is the next logical step to put this power directly into the hands of storytellers, agencies, and brands around the world.”

Looking ahead, Luma AI plans to create 200 jobs in London by 2026, with roles spanning research, engineering, partnerships, and strategic development. Furthermore, by 2028, the company intends to expand its presence across the UK, Europe, and Saudi Arabia as new creative workflows emerge in advertising, branding, and entertainment.

As part of this expansion, Luma AI has appointed Jason Day as the Head of the EMEA region. Day, formerly Executive Vice President of Global Growth at Monks, will lead international operations, strategic partnerships, and customer growth beyond the United States. With over 15 years of experience scaling global creative and technology teams across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, he brings unmatched expertise to the role.

His background also includes senior leadership roles at WPP, such as Global Commercial Director and Director of WPP-Scangroup, along with an MBA from the Said Business School at the University of Oxford. His proven strengths in operational excellence, P&L leadership, and talent development position him as a key asset for Luma AI’s expansion.

“Jason brings a rare combination of business strategy, international growth experience, and a deep understanding of the creative space,” says Caroline Ingeborn, Chief Operating Officer of Luma AI. “His leadership at Monks and WPP covers scaling large, cross-border teams and building client relationships in markets such as London, Munich, and Riyadh, making him the ideal leader to write our next chapter. With Jason at the helm of the London office, Luma AI can put creative intelligence directly into the hands of marketers and storytellers worldwide.”

Day echoed this excitement, stating: “Luma AI is the world leader in developing multimodal artificial generative intelligence (AGI) for the creative industry. Putting this intelligence in the hands of creative professionals worldwide from marketers and gamers to film studios will transform the entire creative process. The regions where we are expanding are actively building new creative economies, with a need for technology that accelerates production without compromising quality. The potential of creative intelligence is still largely untapped, and now is the time to expand it across all industries and geographic areas.”

This international expansion arrives shortly after Luma AI secured a landmark $900 million Series C funding round. In addition, the company will collaborate with HUMAIN on Project Halo a two-gigawatt supercluster designed to power massive AI systems capable of training and deploying multimodal global models. This initiative will support next-generation AI-assisted production, simulation, design, education, and advertising technologies, further strengthening Luma AI’s global footprint.
