KIOXIA America, Inc. has introduced cutting-edge, high-capacity, and energy-efficient data storage solutions in partnership with Dell Technologies, designed to meet the demands of AI-scale workloads while reducing power consumption and cooling requirements. By integrating the groundbreaking KIOXIA LC9 Series 245.76 terabyte (TB) NVMe SSDs into Dell’s high-performance systems, enterprises can now manage massive multi-petabyte datasets and modernize infrastructure to support generative AI and machine learning applications.
The KIOXIA LC9 Series SSDs deliver up to 245.76 TB of flash-based storage with PCIe 5.0 performance in high-density 2.5-inch, E3.S, and E3.L form factors. These SSDs provide a strong alternative to traditional hard drives, delivering better performance while reducing operational costs. By replacing multiple HDDs in each slot, organizations can better utilize GPUs, free up drive bays, and significantly reduce cooling needs resulting in optimized total cost of ownership (TCO) and a smaller data center footprint.
