Information Services Group (ISG), a leading global technology research and advisory firm focused on AI-centered innovation, has introduced a new research study aimed at evaluating service providers that help enterprises optimize operational workflows and strengthen supply chain performance through advanced, data-driven AI solutions.

As supply chain networks grow more complex, businesses continue to generate and collect massive volumes of data. However, many enterprises still face challenges because fragmented systems and poor-quality information often delay the adoption of AI technologies. Consequently, organizations are now increasing investments in specialized AI and analytics services to enable faster, smarter, and more accurate supply chain decision-making.

The findings from this study will be published in an upcoming ISG Provider Lens report titled Specialty Analytics and AI Services Supply Chain, which is scheduled for release in May 2026. This comprehensive report will focus on companies that specialize in applying AI and analytics to supply chain functions, helping enterprises modernize operations and improve execution.

Enterprise buyers can leverage insights from the report to assess existing vendor partnerships, explore new provider engagements, and better understand the evolving landscape of AI-driven supply chain solutions. At the same time, ISG advisors will use this research to recommend the most suitable providers to their buy-side clients.

Supply chain operations are becoming increasingly unpredictable due to shifting regulations, volatile demand, rising costs, expanding supplier ecosystems, and global disruptions. Traditional rule-based models and siloed workflows often prevent enterprises from scaling effectively or responding quickly to sudden changes. Therefore, supply chain leaders are modernizing their technology ecosystems to support predictive, data-driven decision-making.

Organizations are now combining advanced analytics, digital twins, computer vision, and generative AI to build resilient and adaptive supply chains that are future-ready.

“Enterprises take in growing amounts of data from enterprise resource planning, industry operations and IoT devices, but fragmented and low-quality data often slows AI adoption,” said Namratha Dharshan, chief business leader at ISG. “Many organizations are accelerating investments in targeted AI solutions to unlock faster, smarter supply chain decisions.”

To support this initiative, ISG has distributed surveys to more than 25 service providers. In collaboration with its global advisory network, ISG’s research team will develop a quadrant highlighting the specialty analytics and AI services that enterprises are actively adopting.

The report will specifically evaluate providers that integrate supply chain data, modernize operational functions, and apply AI and machine learning to deliver real-time, actionable insights across multiple data sources.

Additionally, the study will explore the global market for specialty supply chain analytics and AI services, excluding large platform vendors and major service providers. ISG analysts Manav Deep Sachdeva and Saravanan M S will author the report.
