Upcoming ISG Provider Lens reports will study service provider offerings for enabling AI, other workloads on the Google Cloud platform

Information Services Group (ISG), a leading global technology research and advisory firm, has launched a research study evaluating service providers supporting enterprise use of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for AI and other workloads.

“The improvements made to the GCP platform have solidified Google’s position as a leader in the cloud computing space.”

The study results will be published in a series of comprehensive ISG Provider Lens™ reports, called Google Cloud Partner Ecosystem, scheduled to be released in July 2025. The geographically focused reports will cover providers that offer consulting and workload migration services, infrastructure management, generative AI (GenAI) services and productivity and integration services.

Enterprise buyers will be able to use information from the reports to evaluate their current vendor relationships, potential new engagements and available offerings, while ISG advisors use the information to recommend providers to the firm’s buy-side clients.

GenAI is transforming the way businesses interact with their data and the processes they use to build business applications. Google’s introduction of its Gemini chatbot has enabled organizations to optimize and improve these processes with ease, enhancing the power and efficiency of every service in the GCP portfolio.

“Google Cloud is demonstrating its commitment to empowering businesses through cutting-edge technologies like AI while delivering scalable and sustainable solutions,” said Aman Munglani, director and principal analyst, ISG Research. “The improvements made to the GCP platform have solidified Google’s position as a leader in the cloud computing space.”

ISG has distributed surveys to more than 125 Google Cloud service partners. Working in collaboration with ISG’s global advisors, the research team will produce five quadrants representing the Google Cloud services the typical enterprise buys based on ISG’s experience working with its clients. The five quadrants are:
