Hitachi, Ltd. has unveiled a global Hitachi AI Factory, built on the NVIDIA AI Factory reference architecture, aiming to centralize and accelerate the development and deployment of physical AI solutions across its core business sectors. Powered by Hitachi iQ with NVIDIA HGX B200 systems featuring NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs, Hitachi iQ M Series with NVIDIA RTX PRO 6000 Server Edition GPUs, and NVIDIA Spectrum-X Ethernet networking, the AI Factory underlines Hitachi’s commitment to creating AI that interacts directly with the physical world. Moreover, it strengthens the company’s HMAX portfolio, offering AI solutions for mobility, energy, industrial, and technology sectors.
The centralized AI Factory equips Hitachi’s global teams with a unified, high-performance AI computing infrastructure. Leveraging NVIDIA’s full-stack AI platform, including NVIDIA AI Enterprise for production-grade AI and NVIDIA Omniverse libraries for simulation and industrial-scale digital twins, the factory enables rapid development of advanced physical AI models. These models can capture and interpret data from real-world environments via sensors and cameras, make decisions, and act autonomously based on the insights gathered.
