Dexory, a leading company in real-time warehouse data intelligence, has officially introduced its next-generation autonomous robot along with an innovative software capability called Storage Health. Together, these advancements aim to significantly improve warehouse efficiency, safety, and operational visibility by delivering richer, more accurate real-time data.
To begin with, Dexory robots have already been working in live warehouse environments since 2023. During this time, they have helped operators gain consistent, real-time insights into storage and inventory conditions. Now, building on this strong foundation, Dexory is taking a major step forward with an upgraded robot design that is faster, smarter, and capable of collecting far more data across increasingly complex warehouse operations.

Notably, the new robot can safely operate alongside workers and machinery without interrupting daily workflows. In addition, it captures high-frequency warehouse data and continuously feeds a live operational view into Dexory’s digital twin platform, DexoryView. With an extended scanning range of up to 60 feet compared to 40 feet in the previous generation the robot can process significantly more information at a quicker pace.
As a result, warehouses can now achieve consistent visibility across racks of all shapes and sizes, including double-deep storage, block storage, and even non-racked environments. This creates a reliable and accurate warehouse data layer accessible instantly with just one click.
“Warehouse performance depends on how closely operational systems reflect reality on the floor,” said Richard Williams, VP of Robotics, Dexory. “By continuously capturing accurate data across every storage type and operational area, our next-generation solution gives customers a trusted, real-time foundation for decision-making. This enables warehouse operators to make decisions based on what is actually there, not what they assume is true.”
Furthermore, the robot’s modular architecture ensures long-term flexibility. Warehouses can easily integrate additional features such as temperature monitoring or pick face analysis without expensive upgrades. Customers already using Dexory’s systems have reported impressive outcomes, including an 80% reduction in audit time and a 20% improvement in throughput. The new robot is expected to expand these gains even further by addressing visibility challenges across all storage configurations.

Alongside the hardware upgrade, Dexory has also launched Storage Health, a powerful AI-driven software feature. Powered by computer vision, Storage Health runs automatically during every scan, analyzing high-resolution images in real time. This provides an additional layer of inspection by detecting critical hygiene and stock risks that are often missed during manual checks.
Specifically, Storage Health can identify damaged racking, unstable pallets, crushed goods, hanging shrink wrap, and other hazards that could lead to safety incidents, compliance issues, or inventory losses.
“The biggest risks often sit higher up or deeper in the racks where manual checks are infrequent and ineffective,” said Chris Coote, Director of Product at Dexory. “Storage Health changes this, enabling operations, health and safety, and inventory teams to act early and reduce risks before they escalate into costly incidents, injuries, or compliance issues.”
Overall, Dexory’s latest innovations mark a major advancement in warehouse automation, providing businesses with smarter tools to improve efficiency, safety, and decision-making through real-time intelligence.
