BT and Infobip have announced the global expansion of their strategic partnership, aiming to deliver AI-powered advanced communication solutions to multinational businesses worldwide. This extension builds on their successful UK collaboration, first launched in 2022, and now brings BT’s Global Voice and inbound contact capabilities together with Infobip’s leading cloud communications platform to create a unified, innovative service.

By combining their strengths, BT and Infobip plan to enhance global connectivity for enterprises, ensuring seamless, secure, and scalable customer engagement across multiple channels. Notably, advanced conversational AI will support these services, enabling businesses to provide human-like interactions at scale. This AI-driven approach allows companies to design intelligent customer journeys using prompts, significantly reducing the need for complex coding.

Infobip brings to the table its comprehensive RCS, WhatsApp, and SMS messaging services, while BT contributes international toll-free numbers and inbound voice capabilities through its International Contact Global (ICG) suite. Under the new agreement, Infobip will serve as an authorized reseller of BT’s ICG services, and BT will offer Infobip’s messaging solutions to its global client base. This mutual collaboration strengthens their ability to unify customer contact centers into a single virtual network, providing enterprises with an integrated set of voice and messaging tools for richer, more cohesive customer experiences.

Moreover, businesses can now engage customers through advanced digital messaging, access phone numbers across more than 130 countries, and manage inbound calls in over 180 countries. This expansion represents a major step toward enabling enterprises to operate globally with greater efficiency and flexibility.
