Each platform integrates Arista’s TunnelSec technology to deliver wirespeed encryption supporting MACsec, IPsec, and VXLANsec on every port simultaneously. The 7800R4 modular system raises the bar for flexibility, offering up to 576 ports of 800GbE within a single chassis, while the newly introduced HyperPort delivers 3.2 Tbps per interface cutting AI job completion times by up to 44%. Complementing this, the compact 7280R4 provides a space-efficient, high-performance option for AI/DC spines or backbone routers, maintaining consistency with Arista EOS-based data plane forwarding.
