Aptiv PLC, a global industrial technology leader, is set to demonstrate at CES 2026 how its intelligent edge solutions empower devices to sense, think, and act in real time. By bringing advanced computing and artificial intelligence closer to where data is generated, the company is enabling faster decision-making while continuously optimizing system performance throughout the entire lifecycle. As a result, Aptiv is unlocking new AI-driven opportunities across transportation, robotics, aerospace, and other mission-critical industries.

Instead of relying solely on centralized cloud infrastructure, Aptiv processes data locally at the edge. Consequently, this approach significantly reduces latency, improves response times, and allows for deeper system-level optimization. During CES 2026, the company will illustrate how real-time perception, decision-making, and actuation are reshaping the way intelligent and connected devices operate in dynamic environments.

“At CES 2026, we’re demonstrating how Aptiv enables real-time perception, decision-making, and actuation transforming how vehicles and other intelligent, connected devices deliver safer, more adaptive, and smarter experiences,” said Javed Khan, Executive Vice President and President of Intelligent Systems at Aptiv. “We’re leveraging our leading technologies proven in millions of vehicles on the road today and successfully extending them into other mission-critical applications from robotics to aerospace and beyond.”

Advancing the Future of Automated Mobility

Within the automotive sector, Aptiv will present its next-generation end-to-end (E2E) AI-powered ADAS platform. This solution is designed to support safer, more human-like driving while enabling enhanced hands-free (L2++) autonomy across both urban streets and highways. By using AI for perception, sensor fusion, and behavior planning, the platform continuously learns from real-world driving data and improves over time.

At the core of this system are Aptiv’s newly launched Gen 8 radars, which offer industry-leading range, resolution, and object detection in all conditions. When combined with advanced machine learning algorithms, these radars deliver consistent performance across complex driving scenarios. In addition, the Aptiv PULSE sensor integrates surround-view cameras with ultra-short-range radar to provide seamless 360-degree perception, ensuring reliable coverage across parking, urban, and highway environments regardless of lighting or weather.

Elevating Digital Cockpit Experiences

Alongside ADAS innovations, Aptiv will unveil its latest Digital Cockpit technologies at CES 2026. These solutions are engineered to improve safety and elevate in-cabin experiences for both passenger and commercial vehicles. By integrating user experience design, ADAS, and middleware, Aptiv enables smoother collaboration between drivers and vehicles during hands-free driving.

Furthermore, Aptiv’s Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Cabin Monitoring System (CMS) use advanced vision and radar sensing to enable smarter, safety-critical decisions. Vision-based occupant detection can replace traditional seat sensors, reducing complexity and cost while enhancing flexibility. Meanwhile, a virtual synthetic data environment accelerates AI development by generating scalable and realistic training datasets.

Connected Mobility and Multi-Industry Expansion

Aptiv will also highlight its collaboration with Verizon to explore Cellular Vehicle-to-Everything (C-V2X) technology. Powered by the Aptiv LINC Software Platform and Verizon’s Edge Transportation Exchange, this proof of concept demonstrates how 5G, edge computing, and low-latency communication can improve road safety by enabling vehicles to share real-time information about pedestrians and cyclists.

Beyond mobility, Aptiv’s CES 2026 pavilion will showcase robotics and aerospace applications, including AI-powered collaborative robots and autonomous mobile robots. Together, these demonstrations reinforce Aptiv’s commitment to delivering intelligent, real-time solutions across multiple industries.
