AI MINDSystems Foundation has announced the appointment of Melvin Greer, PhD, as its new Chief AI Officer, marking a significant step in its mission to build a human-centric data and AI ecosystem. Dr. Greer is widely recognized as a pioneering technologist, a catalyst for cross-sector innovation, and a strong advocate for protecting personal data privacy, dignity, empowerment, safety, wellbeing, and financial inclusion at every level of society.

Stepping into this new leadership position, Dr. Greer brings extensive expertise from his recent tenure at Intel Corporation, where he retired in August 2025. During his time at Intel, he served as a Fellow and Chief Data Scientist, playing a crucial role in accelerating the adoption of privacy-preserving technologies across machine learning and AI runtime environments. Now, as part of the Foundation’s executive leadership team, he will guide the AI strategy for the organization’s person-centered AI MINDSystems Trusted Data Ecosystem.

Dr. Greer’s depth of knowledge spans AI security, sustainable infrastructure, decentralized blockchain-based AI, data and AI economics, and ethical governance. His groundbreaking work with verifiable computation and advanced privacy-enhancing technologies will significantly accelerate the Foundation’s large-scale implementation efforts.
