Siemens and NVIDIA will focus on accelerating the entire industrial lifecycle, creating AI-driven solutions that enhance innovation, continuous optimization, and sustainable manufacturing. Their plan includes building the world’s first fully AI-driven, adaptive manufacturing facilities, with the Siemens electronics factory in Erlangen set as the initial pilot in 2026. Using an “AI brain” powered by NVIDIA Omniverse libraries and industrial operations software, factories can continuously analyze digital twins, test improvements virtually, and implement operational changes in real-time, increasing productivity while reducing risk.
The collaboration also enhances Electronic Design Automation (EDA). By integrating NVIDIA CUDA-X libraries, PhysicsNeMo, and GPU acceleration into Siemens’ EDA portfolio, the partnership will accelerate semiconductor workflows 2- to 10-fold, while adding AI-powered layout guidance, debugging support, and circuit optimization to improve reliability and yield.
Additionally, the companies will develop repeatable designs for next-generation AI factories, balancing high-performance computing, power, cooling, and automation requirements. By combining NVIDIA’s AI platform roadmap and Omniverse simulations with Siemens’ expertise in electrification, automation, and digital twins, they aim to increase energy efficiency, optimize operations, and scale AI-driven industrial solutions worldwide.
