Super Micro Computer, Inc. (SMCI), a global leader in Total IT Solutions for AI/ML, HPC, Cloud, Storage, and 5G/Edge, announced a major milestone in its collaboration with Lambda, the Superintelligence Cloud provider. Lambda has deployed an extensive range of Supermicro GPU-optimized servers, including cutting-edge NVIDIA Blackwell-based systems, to strengthen its AI infrastructure and deliver high-performance computing power to enterprises.

This partnership officially launched in June at Cologix’s COL4 ScalelogixSM data center in Columbus, Ohio, marking an exciting step forward for both teams. As a result, organizations across the Midwest now have direct access to enterprise-grade AI compute solutions designed for scale, speed, and efficiency.

“Supermicro is excited to collaborate with Lambda on powerful technology to push the boundaries of AI infrastructure,” said Vik Malyala, SVP, Technology & AI at Supermicro. “Our broad range of GPU-optimized servers enable leaders like Lambda to deliver powerful, flexible, and energy-efficient solutions that can handle demanding AI workloads.”

To meet the surging demand for AI-ready servers, Lambda adopted a diverse portfolio of Supermicro systems. These include the SYS-A21GE-NBRT with NVIDIA HGX B200, SYS-821GE with NVIDIA HGX H200, and SYS-221HE-TNR all powered by Intel Xeon Scalable processors. Notably, Lambda integrated Supermicro’s AI Supercluster featuring NVIDIA GB200 and GB300 NVL72 racks, enabling massive-scale training and inference workloads with unmatched performance.

“Lambda is on a mission to accelerate the path to Superintelligence, building gigawatt-scale AI factories for training and inference for the world’s top AI labs, enterprises and hyperscalers,” said Ken Patchett, VP Data Center Infrastructure at Lambda. “As we strive to create infinite-scale compute for our customers, the depth of Supermicro’s server portfolio is a valuable asset for meeting our present and future needs.”

In addition to building one of the largest AI factories in the region, Lambda has introduced energy-efficient servers equipped with advanced cooling technologies and a scalable architecture. This approach allows the company to rapidly deploy next-generation AI accelerators and optimize performance at record speed.

Cologix also plays a pivotal role in this collaboration by supporting Lambda and Supermicro with robust infrastructure. “Columbus is a fast-growing hub for AI innovation, from manufacturing to healthcare, and Cologix is proud to be the region’s leading colocation and interconnection provider,” said Chris Heinrich, Chief Revenue Officer of Cologix. “With multiple data centers interconnected by a diverse, high-capacity fiber ring and continued expansion planned, we’re building the digital backbone for AI and superintelligence. By combining Supermicro’s trusted systems, Lambda’s growing customer footprint and Cologix’s dense physical and virtual interconnection, enterprises across Columbus and the Midwest gain the low-latency access, scalability and performance needed to stay ahead.”

Supermicro, Lambda, and Cologix have come together to make it easier and faster for industries like healthcare, finance, manufacturing, retail, and logistics to harness the power of AI. Together, they are not only driving innovation but also providing enterprises with a seamless path to production-ready AI solutions that integrate effortlessly with hyperscaler environments.
